About me!

Hi! Welcome to Gallery of Art.
I'm so glad you're here. I thought I'd introduce myself so you'll know who you are working with.
My name is Daphanie and I have a variety of hobbies. I love crafts of any kind including sewing and crocheting. I am an Indie author and loved creating my own covers so much that I decided to start making them for others.
I have 8 years of Photoshop experience creating anything from covers to greeting cards or just editing photos. Working in Photoshop is a passion for me. I love creating new works of art out of photographs. Every time I learn a new technique I can't wait to try it out.
I have just added 3D renderings to my list of talents. By far the most challenging thing I've ever learned to do, but well worth the effort to offer one of a kind custom characters for my clients.
I love creating custom covers and can tweak almost any pre-designed cover I've created to match your characters.
Since your cover is the first thing potential readers see, it is extremely important that it is an accurate representation of your story. NOTHING frustrates me more than picking out a book with the heroine showing blond hair only to find out she's got black hair in the story. Maybe it's just me, but it's impossible to get blond hair out of my head once I've seen it on the cover. It's like that with every detail. Your cover sets the mood for your story, so accuracy is HUGE!
It also needs to be eye catching. Lets face it the market is saturated with self published authors and no matter how many times we've heard not to judge a book by its cover, that's exactly what we do.

Your cover is an investment. You've spent hours, weeks, months and maybe even years perfecting your story, but it doesn't have a chance if no one even gives it a second glance. Think of your cover as an advertisement tool. Because ultimately...that's exactly what it is.
