From September 21 through 27, 2020, SPBC’s nonprofit partner organization, ProLiteracy, will hold the first Great American Book Sale. Furthering its mission to change lives and communities through the power of adult literacy, ProLiteracy will connect the literary world to basic literacy with the Great American Book Sale.

ProLiteracy is looking for book donations from recently published (last 24 months), living authors who are willing to personalize and autograph printed books. All genres are welcome. Your donation may be tax deductible.
As a participant in the sale, you will receive a marketing toolkit to help you share your support of adult literacy with your followers and give them the information they need to shop.

Donating books to a worthy cause is a great way to gain new readers, and it gives us a reason to promote our books by mentioning the donation in a post on social media. For example, you could post a pic of yourself autographing a book and write something like, “Excited to donate a signed book to ProLiteracy’s Great American Booksale!” Or post a link to your book and say “This is the book I chose to donate to ProLiteracy’s Great American Booksale, if you want to check it out!”
